Project 1: Sky Map was created for Type 2 class as an infographic study focused on translating information into a clear visual system. The project explored how typography, structure, hierarchy, and pacing can guide a viewer through complex information while still creating a strong visual atmosphere.

Rather than approaching the infographic as a simple chart or data sheet, I treated it as a designed map something that organizes information spatially and visually. Through scale, alignment, and typographic contrast, the piece balances clarity with a sense of movement, allowing the viewer to navigate the information in a more intuitive way.

The final outcome became an exercise in making information feel both readable and designed, using type as the main tool for orientation, emphasis, and visual rhythm.
